Hope you are ready for a safari, because there’s a Serengeti in the Bronx! Complete with lions, giraffes, cheetahs and African wild dogs, this as close to the African plains most people will ever come.

The first predator-prey exhibit in North America, lions perch on their island and survey fleet-footed ibex, gazelles and a heard of zebras. The newest animals to settle on the African Plains are a pack of African wild dogs. Much like your pup back home, these wilds dogs love to dig and swim in their new exhibit.
